Heather Garcia is a seasoned operations leader and dedicated public servant with over 15 years of experience in the Financial Technology and Healthcare sectors. A proud resident of Herriman, she brings a proven record of building high-performing teams, improving operational efficiency, and aligning strategic business goals with the needs of the communities she serves.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Heather has spent the past six years serving on the Herriman City Planning Commission, where she has provided thoughtful analysis and sound recommendations on land use, zoning, and long-term development. She has been a consistent voice for preserving Herriman’s character by opposing high-density housing projects that threaten infrastructure, overcrowd schools, and compromise quality of life. Her work has helped ensure that Herriman’s growth remains aligned with the city’s General Plan and the values of its residents.

Heather and her husband, Gabriel, have been married for 17 years and are raising their three children in the heart of Herriman. Their kids currently attend Butterfield Canyon Elementary and Mountain Ridge High School. The Garcias have proudly built their forever home in Herriman and are deeply rooted in the community. Heather is also the founder of a local volunteer group that organizes service projects throughout the city, reinforcing her commitment to giving back and bringing neighbors together.
